Political Action Reproductive Rights

It is our elected officials who enact our agenda for equality. They both pass the laws and run the government. It is therefore most important to know what a candidate stands for, and what she/he does while in office.

NOW on the National level has a PAC (Political Action Committee) which screens and endorses candidates for Federal office, ie: Congress and the President.

Our N.Y. State NOW also has a PAC, which endorses candidates for State office.

Our chapter, NOW Mid-Suffolk, does not have a PAC and we cannot legally endorse candidates. However, we personally need to know what our officials are doing, and at election time find out the candidates' stand on our issues, and support those who support our issues.
